Thanks to those who helped with the Stand for Children Coat Drive

Community Network for Children and Families, a division of Sierra Nevada Children's Services, would like to thank the many people and agencies that helped with the Third Annual Stand for Children Coat Drive.

Over 400 coats were distributed to families in need.

Thanks to Mercury, Ballerina, Launderland, and Valet Cleaners for their generosity. Appreciation goes to Oak Ridge Apartments, Nevada City Fire and Sierra College for collecting coats for us. And special thanks to Alta Sierra School and Mary Baukol for collecting over 70 coats for the drive. Thanks to all of you.

Nevada County Concert Band

gave a stellar performance

My husband and I attended the Christmas concert given by the Nevada County Concert Band and were truly impressed with the process under the full baton of Patti Carter and associate Cheryl Baker. The musicians gave a stellar performance.

Thanks again, and keep up the excellence.

People out there in our area are missing a lot by not attending at least one of their concerts.
